School Lane Hotel in Liverpool ONE

Location is the main thing, its ideal. The room was simple enough, small. clean Access is simple enough though could do with a sign for people who aren't familiar with the location. Bed was good

Rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed. Good lighting. Nice and quiet considering the location. Liked the big rain showerhead and step-in shower.

Right from the first day the staff gave been very helpful and not in a 'habving to' be it's my job' of way ' but you can feel they were genuinely happy to help. The location was very central to what we wanted to do .Walking distance to Mathew Street,the docks and the bus station being close was an extra bonus for the out of centre trips such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields .Surrounded by shops from high end to low cost.Eateries abound .We visit Liverpool as leadt twice a year .By far the best hotel we have stayed in so far. 😊

We stayed for three nights in April, and everything was very good! The staff is exceptional, everything was clean, modern and worked perfectly. We had great heating, plenty of hot water and a great TV. The location is superb, especially if you're into shopping. It feels like you're living in a mall. The dock is a short walk away, as well as the rest of the city center.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed 😊 the location is so central, close to the Albert Dock and right in the middle of a huge shopping area with amazing boutique shops as well as all the High Street favourites. The imax cinema is a couple of minutes walk. The hotel is so easy to come and go from with key card access. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, they made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel being dog friendly was a massive bonus and complimentary treats and a water bowl were supplied which was a lovely welcoming touch. The room was gorgeous, clean and spacious. Very comfy beds and I can be hard to please with that! Gorgeous shower room with soap and shower gel. There was an iron, ironing board and mini safe in the wardrobes and a desk for getting ready with complimentary tea and coffee. There was everything we needed and more. The reception area has a well stocked fridge that you can charge to your room plus complimentary breakfast of pastries and coffees which was another excellent welcoming touch. We are already planning our next stay 😊 we paid £75 for myself, my son and 2 dogs which I thought was incredibly reasonable. On arrival we paid a £50 deposit which was returned almost immediately after check out. We travelled by train and it only took 15 minutes to slowly walk to the hotel via St John's gardens, which is right next to the station, where our dogs enjoyed a walk.
